I’ve been critical of foil at times — not because it doesn’t have value, but because for those who live for the fin, the spotlight suddenly shifted somewhere else.
Still, I have to admit it: foil taught us something that matters to us too.
In the beginning, it felt like a new world.
A discipline where the old rules no longer applied, where anyone — with real training, not luck — could break into the rankings. Everything was still undefined, nothing was set in stone, and that uncertainty created excitement.
For a moment, a door opened: “maybe I can have my say, maybe I can get there.”
Then, slowly, what always happens in mature sports happened again: the champions came back to the front, the hierarchy settled, and that early hope faded.
But that’s not the part that matters.
What matters is what we saw in that first period: when you truly feel you can make it, you train differently.
And sometimes… you actually break through.
New names appeared out of nowhere.
Not because the champions stopped being champions, but because, for the first time, the environment made people believe they could reach them.
The “foil case” put it in front of our eyes:
the evolution of the discipline was a mental accelerator before it was a technical one.
Put the best and the newcomers together in a space that still has to be built, and something rare happens: new champions emerge “from nowhere”.
Not by magic — but by atmosphere.
And this brings us back to the fin.
Can it happen here too?
Honestly, yes.
The limitation isn’t the gear, the discipline, or the material.
What’s missing is the right environment — the one that makes you feel you truly have the chance to reach higher.
At Bullet, we want to build a space where fin riders find the right energy to grow, a place where top-level riders can emerge even when nobody expects it.
A place that doesn’t slow down your ambitions, but strengthens them: here what drives you gets momentum instead of fading out.
Bullet exists for this:
to give you a healthy, motivating environment, competitive in the best possible way.
A place that helps you feel you belong at that level.
Because when you feel you can go further… you actually start doing it.
